Cancellation & refunds

Cancellation and refund policy

Last updated 22 August 2026

This policy applies to all registration and accommodation payments made for the 8th IMAGICON, 17 – 18 April 2027, at Radisson Blu, Nashik.

Registration fees are non-refundable

Once a registration fee has been paid, it is not refundable. This applies whatever the reason for cancellation and whatever the date of cancellation, and it applies equally to a delegate who registers and then does not attend. Conference costs are committed well in advance against confirmed numbers, which is why the committee is not able to return fees.

Please be certain of your dates before you pay. If you are unsure, contact us at contact@imagicon2027.com before registering rather than after.

You may send someone in your place

A paid registration may be transferred to another delegate. Write to contact@imagicon2027.com from the email address used to register, at least seven days before the conference, naming the substitute delegate. The substitute must qualify for the same registration category — a Faculty or Resident place requires a valid MMC registration number, so it cannot be transferred to someone who does not hold one. One transfer per registration; the transfer itself is free.

Accommodation

Accommodation booked through the conference is held on your behalf at Radisson Blu and is governed by the hotel’s own terms. Once a room is confirmed, the accommodation charge is likewise non-refundable. Room type and occupancy cannot be changed after confirmation.

If we cancel or postpone

If the organising committee cancels the conference outright, every delegate receives a full refund of the registration fee paid.

If the conference is postponed to new dates, your registration carries over to the new dates automatically and no action is needed. If the new dates do not suit you, tell us within fourteen days of the new dates being announced and we will refund your registration fee in full.

Where the cancellation or postponement is caused by events outside our control — an act of God, natural disaster, epidemic, government direction, civil unrest or the venue becoming unavailable — refunds are made after deducting costs already irrecoverably committed, and the committee will state those deductions in writing. Accommodation refunds in every case follow the hotel’s own cancellation terms.

Refunds under this section are processed within 7 to 10 working days of the refund being approved.

Duplicate, failed and incorrect payments

If you were charged more than once for the same registration, or money was debited for a registration that was never confirmed, that amount is returned to you in full. Write to contact@imagicon2027.com with your registration ID and the bank or card transaction reference. Verified duplicate and failed payments are refunded within 5 to 7 working days of the request.

How refunds are paid

Every refund is returned through the original payment method, to the same card, account or UPI handle the payment came from. We cannot pay a refund in cash, or into a different account from the one that paid. Once we release a refund, the time it takes to appear on your statement is set by your bank or card issuer, typically a further 5 to 7 working days.

Payments on this site are processed by Razorpay. Any charge that Razorpay levies on a refunded transaction is borne by the committee, not deducted from your refund.
